Corporate Social Responsibility

The phrase, "people, planet, and profit" to describe the triple bottom line and the goal of sustainability, was coined by John Elkington in 1994. Traditionally, business leaders were concerned with the monetary profits their businesses made but today more and more leaders have come forward to have a cyclic process scheme of reusability instead of linear model and also began thinking about Sustainable Business Model. The triple bottom line theory of Elkington includes other performance index of People and Planet as well apart from Profit which helps in giving it a complete sustainable model.
